The Charlotte Mungenast Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a full-time student who has excelled in community service. The one-time $500 scholarship is open to all registered full-time students at the three major universities located in the city of St. Louis, the St. Louis Jaycees service area: Harris-Stowe State University, St. Louis University, and Washington University.
Charlotte Mungenast was the wife of one of the original founders of the St. Louis Jaycees and 1924 president, Andrew Mungenast. Charlotte was involved for many years, attending meetings & conventions locally, national and internationally, even following the death of her husband. She truly embodied what it meant to be an active citizen a Jaycees and was beloved by members worldwide.
